Support Worker - Neston

Support workers required to work with a client in their own home - Neston Area

1 X 36 hours (3 x 12-hour shifts per week) – permanent

1 x 36 hours (3 x 12-hour shifts per week) – permanent

Shifts are worked during the daytime either 8am or 9am start and 8pm or 9pm finish.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a 26-year-old young lady who has learning difficulties and Cerebral Palsy.

You would be working as part of an existing team and the role would include, but not limited to: assisting with all aspects of personal care which will include the use of a ceiling track hoist, full assistance at mealtimes, helping with socialisation, exercise and following and implementing prescribed therapy, improving independent living skills, finding new activities, planning structure and routine for each day which includes activities both in the home and in the community. There are additional duties such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning the house for the client.

Female Support Worker - South Warrington Area (P/T)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client and are looking for a female support worker to join an existing team, to work with a 16 year old young lady with cerebral palsy living in the south Warrington area. The client is non-verbal and completely dependent on others for her needs.

Your role will be to support the client with a range of learning activities (attend college), personal care, medication administration, regular physiotherapy and gastrostomy feeds. You need to be passionate about your work, and proactively provide a range of stimulating activities which will support the client’s cognitive and physical development.

The role includes assisting with personal care (which will include the use of a ceiling track hoist), helping with socialisation, exercise and completing prescribed therapy, improving independent living skills (including household chores – client’s washing and cleaning of client’s living area), finding new activities, planning structure and routine for each day, in a fun and innovative way.

Job Types: Permanent part time x 1, Casual part time x 1

Salary: £13 per hour during probation, £14 hour once passed

Expected hours: 20 – 25 hours per week
